The Indian Army has released the official notification for Agniveer Recruitment 2026. This is a fantastic chance for young and motivated individuals to serve the country with pride and build a disciplined career in the armed forces.

According to the Army Recruitment Office, Bhopal, applications are invited from permanent residents of the following districts of Madhya Pradesh: Ashoknagar, Betul, Bhopal, Chhindwara, Damoh, Guna, Harda, Narmadapuram, Narsinghpur, Pandhurna, Panna, Raisen, Rajgarh, Sehore, and Vidisha.

Recruitment is open for the following categories:

• Agniveer Male (General Duty, Technical, Clerk/Store Keeper, Tradesman – 10th Pass & 8th Pass)

• Permanent Cadre posts: Nursing Assistant, Nursing Assistant Veterinary, and Sepoy Pharma

Common Entrance Exam (CEE)

The online Common Entrance Examination (CEE) is likely to be conducted between 1 June and 15 June 2026. Candidates are advised to carefully read all instructions and eligibility criteria mentioned in the official notification.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: 17.5 to 21 years
• Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th Pass (Matriculation) with at least 45% aggregate marks and 33% in each subject for General Duty. Different educational requirements apply for other posts (8th/10th/12th pass as per category).
• Nationality: Indian Citizen
• Gender: Male and Female (as per post)

Only candidates who fulfill all eligibility conditions will be allowed to participate in the selection process, which includes the online CEE, physical tests, medical examination, and other stages.

Salary and Benefits

Selected Agniveers will receive an attractive salary package. The starting monthly salary is approximately Rs.30,000 plus applicable allowances (risk allowance, hardship allowance, etc.). The salary increases every year as follows:

• 1st Year: Rs.30,000 + allowances
• 2nd Year: Rs.33,000 + allowances
• 3rd Year: Rs.36,500 + allowances
• 4th Year: Rs.40,000 + allowances

After completing four years of service, candidates will receive a total salary package of around Rs.6.92 lakh. Additionally, they will get a Seva Nidhi package of approximately Rs.11.71 lakh (including interest) at the end of their service.
