Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced a special Raksha Bandhan gift for beneficiaries of the Ladli Bahna Yojana, marking a significant welfare initiative ahead of the festive season. Over 1.26 crore women enrolled in the scheme will receive an additional Rs.250 as "Bhaiya ka Shagun" on August 7, supplementing their regular monthly payment of Rs.1,250. The announcement was made during a public address where CM Yadav emphasized the government's commitment to women's empowerment, stating "Women are my sisters - their dignity and well-being are our priority."

The special payment will be directly transferred to beneficiaries' bank accounts, with the formal launch scheduled for 2:45 PM in Narsinghgarh, Rajgarh district.
