     As many as 15 women won Oscars at the 91st Academy Awards today, which is the most number of Oscars won by women in a single edition of the prestigious award ceremony. The previous record for most female wins in an Oscar ceremony was 12, which came both in 2007 and 2015. In 2018, women had bagged six Oscars.
